#OBSESSION EP - 6/26/12

Obsession is the new album I’m recording that is currently in post-production. It is very special to me because it’s my First album and its extremely personal, vulnerable with a certified Edge. The theme of this record is about the Obsession I have with Love. I love the thought of falling in love, intimacy and the supernatural feeling you get when your around that special person as well as noticing when its dangerously taking over your life, falling out of it, letting it go, loving yourself again and moving on. Obsession is a inner look and illustration of my personal life and relationship experiences. There are upbeat tracks as well as heartfelt ballads on the album. I wanted to blend different musical genres into this project including 90s RnB, hip hop and I experimented with pop-rock records as well so that I wouldn't put myself into a box and create an eclectic body of music with something for everyone. Obsession was definitely inspired by Michael Jackson’s 1982 Thriller. I’m very humbled to be working with Multi-Platinum Producer/Songwriter Drathoven who’s produced for Tyrese, Kirko Bangz, Yolanda Adams, Shei Atkins and Khalil (Def Jam) he’s a great mentor, an incredibly talented musician and I know were going to produce some major hits and make history. Chadd Johnson (Singer/Songwriter/CEO of TheArrangahz) will serve as an executive producer on my album as well he’s very talented his writing is universal and unyielding it is an honor to have him produce on my project. I’m hoping that people with embrace it because one of my focuses as an artist is to create music to be used as a tool to touch, heal and inspire there lives so with that being said I most definitely cant wait to share this piece of myself with the World.
